A Blissful Autumn Day at Westview Orchards & Winery, Washington, MI

It's not every day that I get to work in the charming setting of Westview Orchards & Winery, especially on a sun-soaked October Sunday. But the universe conspired to make it happen, and boy, was it a day to remember!

The day started with Ashley and Juanita lost in their little world, amidst rows of apple trees. The way they looked at each other while picking apples as if they were plucking moments to cherish forever, was extraordinary to capture.

After some apple-picking adventures, the couple switched to something equally delightful—a cozy picnic! Imagine sipping on some cider, nibbling on doughnuts, and basking in the glow of your love, all while enveloped by the hues of autumn leaves. Pure magic!

What moved me the most was hearing their proposal stories. It's one thing to see love, but it's another to hear it in the words of those living it. Listening to Ashley and Juanita talk about how they each popped the question to each other left me counting the days to their wedding next October.

Just like them, I too felt a strong connection. It's always a joy to work with couples who make you feel like you've known them for ages. They made it incredibly easy to be creative and capture their essence most genuinely.

I'm buzzing with excitement to document their wedding day next year! If this engagement session was a glimpse into their love story, I can only imagine how incredible the wedding would be.
